Euclid Launches New Watch D.O.G.S. Program
Posted on 05/29/2014
Watch D.O.G.S.Euclid has launched a new volunteer program aimed at getting fathers more involved in the lives of their children’s education. The Watch DOGS (Dads Of Great
Students) program has been a huge success! Fathers and other important male role models volunteer in
Euclid classrooms for a half day at a time. They are helping students read, write and do mathematics. They are enjoying recess and lunch with the students. Most importantly, they are sending the message that they think that school is important - important enough to spend their own valuable time here themselves.

The response to the Watch DOGS program has been fantastic. Fathers keep hearing about it and are stepping forward to be involved. The program was run as a pilot this spring, but has been so successful, that it will be implemented again in the fall. If you have any questions about the Watch DOGS program, please contact Mrs. Haney at #847-259-3303.
